Hi, my name is Cijo Cyril, a Web designer and developer, Ecommerce sites designer and SEO Specialist based in India. I'm passionate about creating modern, elegant, functional websites. When building a website I use pencil and paper to create rough sketches, Photoshop and Illustrator to create visual design. Dreamweaver or Notepad++ to create semantic XHTML and CSS.
Presently handling various web designing projects on my own and also rendering service to different companies in India as well as abroad. I like to make all my designs as simple, practical and logical as possible and if I manage to make them look great too then I feel I've succeeded. I'm really not a 'wow' kind of guy, but I do create stuff that works nicely and looks good. To quote Charles Mingus, "Making the simple complicated is common place; making the complicated simple, awesomely simple, that's creativity". My interests lie in computer graphics and web designing. I am good in painting and drawing, which is the sole platform for me in computer graphics. I have won many prizes for drawing and painting in school, college, district, state and national level. About my paintings...I started painting and drawing when I was very young, but never had any real formal training in this (although I intend to, at some point). So I just bought some books, read some articles on the internets and of course had lots and lots of practice. I don't really plan to sell my paintings; I just want to give them away to friends and family or to people who'd enjoy having them. In my free time I like walking around, exploring and taking photos. I'm definitely just an enthusiast photographer, reading old detective books, watching a good movie, hanging out with my mates, cooking, taking care of my flowers, learning life, traveling pretty much sums up the remainder of my time... And other boring stuff likes that :).
